We are a family of 5 and my mother is coming on the trip as well...and that will make it 6. When diningI realize we need to pay the 18% gratuity. How does this work. Do we give all of our cards to the waiter. Just confused on how the dining plan works!

    Hi Angie,

If your mother is staying in your room with you, then you will all be on the same Disney Dining Plan. You'll just need to present one Key to the World card to your server and they will subtract the 6 credits from your plan at each meal. You'll then need to pay for the tip separately with either cash or you can charge it to your room using your Key to the World card (if you left a credit card upon check in to cover incidentals).

If she is staying separately, your mother will need to present her card too and will need to cover her tip as well. In this case, be sure to advise your server that she is on a separate bill.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can assist you further,
