My family and I are going to MNSSHP in Oct, this will be our first special event at the parks! I've read that you can enter the park around 4:00, but I wondered if that is only for resort guests. Can we go at around 4 staying off property?

    Hi Stephanie!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of the not-so-secret secrets of the party tickets is that you can enter the park at 4:00 p.m., and don't have to wait until the party begins at 7 p.m.  (subject to change, but has been this way for a long time)

Your ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is all you need to enter the park three hours early. Party-goers usually begin lining up 30 minutes to an hour before 4:00.  There will be a separate queue for party-ticket holders to enter.  Typically, they will give you a wristband that identifies you as having a party ticket once you enter.

It's a great idea to follow the Disney Parks Blog for updated party details.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
