My family and I are going to be in MK before Mickeys Halloween party. We are not staying for this special event but we have a dining reservation at 6:30pm. Will we able to stay in the park for our dining reservation?

    Hi Colleen!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you have an incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation coming up. I love to visit Walt Disney World Resort during the fall to enjoy the beautiful autumn decorations and the tasty fall treats. Plus, it's so nice to get one last taste of Florida sunshine once the weather turns cold at home!

On select nights in the fall, Magic Kingdom closes early to host Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. On party nights, Magic Kingdom will close at 6:00 p.m. to allow the festivities to begin at 7:00 p.m. Guests with standard theme park tickets who do not have tickets for that evening's party will not be able to enjoy the theme park's attractions, dining or entertainment after the theme park closes at 6:00 p.m. Since dining reservations does not include theme park admission, you would need tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in order to enjoy your 6:30 p.m. dining reservation. If you will not have tickets to that evening's party, I recommend that you look for dining reservations at one of the fantastic restaurants at Disney Springs or at one of the Disney Resort hotels on the Resort Monorail!

Let us know if you have additional questions as you continue planning your magical vacation. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
