My family is going to Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween on 9/30!! my husband is going to dress as Hans Solo and would like to have a Hans Solo blaster. Is he allowed to have this as part of his costume?

Oh my goodness Kathleen!  Many of the moms and dads from the panel will also be going that night.  Please say hello if you see any of us!

I have to be honest, I'm not sure if Disney security will allow the blaster into the park.  It depends on how realistic your husband's blaster looks.  Some of them look like the real deal!  We can't speak for security but if your husband wants to bring it knowing there is a chance it may be confiscated during the security check, that is a risk he can take.  At the same time, you don't want to bring anything that may scare other guests.  If it were my husband, I would tell him to leave the blaster home and carry all our trick or treat bags!

    Enjoy the party!  Diane
