MagicBand+ and Smart Phone

    Family members have wristbands how do I obtain.

    Welcome to planDisney Yvatte. Thanks for stopping by with your question. There are a bunch of ways to get outfitted for your next visit. 


    Keeping up with the family is important especially when it is on a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. MagicBand+ is a great way to keep your important items all in one place and always accessible. When you use MagicBand+ with your My Disney Experience App the world is at your fingertips. Well Walt Disney World that is, you can store your theme park tickets and payment options for food and other purchases. There are so many different places to obtain one. If you would like to purchase one before your stay the best place is shopDisney.com where you can find a huge selection. At the time of my writing back to you, I saw over 40 different designs. You can always wait until you get to the parks and shop in person as well. One of my favorite places to shop is Celebrity 5 & 10 located on Hollywood Boulevard inside Disney's Hollywood Studios. This store has an entire section with bands for all tastes.


    Once you have selected your MagicBand you can link it to your My Disney Experience App. There is a code on the back of each MagicBand, you will want to visit "My Account" and then you will see "MagicBands and More." From here the code can be assigned to you. Keep in mind that once you assign a MagicBand it cannot be transferred. If you really don't want to carry anything you can link your credit card to the MagicBand so you just tap and pay at most locations for food and retail locations.
