My 15 family members are having a Christmas reunion at WDW. We're trying to plan the departure day brunch. We want a resort restaurant (with great food) in the MK area that is quiet enough for comfortable conversation but that won't stifle the kids.

    Hi Matt,

For a brunch in the Magic Kingdom Park area, I highly suggest The Wave...of American Flavors at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The Wave offers an amazing breakfast buffet with plenty of options for adults and kids (and the best grits I've ever tasted in my life.) There is also an à la carte menu available for breakfast. The atmosphere is relaxed and it's definitely quiet enough for conversation. I also think it's one of the best values for breakfast around.

If you're looking for a character dining location, 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is another great option. The meal is served family style with lots of delicious choices. Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto visit with guests during their meals so it's perfect for the little ones.

I hope these options are what you're looking for Matt. Please feel free to follow up with me if you have any other questions.

    Have a magical day,
    Ashley
