My family members have never been to Disney and are looking for recommendations for places with halal options. We heard there is a prayer room in the morocco part of epcot, is this a safe place and where is it located?

Hello there, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that I'm able to answer your question today. A first-time trip to Walt Disney World Resort is a magical experience, and I'm so excited to contribute a little bit of pixie dust to your family's vacation. Guests from all around the world visit The Most Magical Place On Earth every day, and Disney is committed to honoring special dietary requests with care. I've got some great halal dining options for you, so let's jump right in and get started!

First and foremost, I want to encourage you to contact Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com at least 24 hours before your trip and let them know which Table Service restaurants you have reservations for. They will be able to give advance notice to those dining locations that you'll be visiting so they'll know what options you need when you sit down to dine! When you check in at the restaurant, they will also ask about any special dietary requests, and you can take this opportunity to remind them that you've requested a halal meal. I also want to let you know that Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, Spice Road Table, and Tony's Town Square Restaurant are all Table Service restaurants with halal options available at all times, so they're great choices for a last-minute meal.

Now, let's talk about Quick-Service! The following dining locations have halal meals readily available with no advanced notice required:
We reached out to the friendly Cast Members at the Morocco Pavilion about a prayer room and, while they said there is not one publicly available in the Pavilion, they will be happy to recommend a quiet place nearby that is suitable for prayer when you visit them next week. While you're in the Theme Parks, please visit Guest Relations to hear more about their recommendations for quiet and safe places where you can pray in private.

I hope this answers your question, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
