Greetings, Denise, welcome to planDisney, we thank you for your excellent question!
Disney’s Disability Access Service, as part of the many inclusive
services for Guests with disabilities, is an accommodation that upon careful discussion with a Cast Member only from Guest Relations inside any of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, or from the comfort of your home via
DAS Advance up to 30-days before arrival but no less than 2-days before arrival, may be an accommodation considered for a Guest’s convenience.
If three members of the same travel party are each granted the DAS accommodation, it is to the best of my knowledge and personal experience that those three DAS Guest users may have the same other Guests associated with their DAS accommodation in the My Disney Experience app (subject to change). Those associated with the DAS Guestlist in the app, cannot receive two, or more active DAS Return Times at once from any of the three DAS users. So your group is able to split up as long as one of those associated Guests isn’t selected for two or more DAS Return Times at the same time. I don’t believe the accommodation in the app will allow for that.
For additional assistance, please call Disability Services at (407) 560-2547, or send an email to disability.services@disneyparks.com.
Denise, a feature on the
My Disney Experience App now allows registered DAS Guests the ability to self-select a same-day DAS Return Time. Instead of having to request a DAS Return Time at an attraction entrance, or at a nearby kiosk, the registered DAS Guest and their associated party members may now make a DAS Return Time selection, one at a time, in the app during the day of their theme park visit.
Please note - the registered DAS Guest needing the accommodation does not need to physically seek a DAS Return Time by going to an attraction entrance, or kiosk, but they do have to be present at the time of boarding.
To access the DAS Self-Selection screen, in the theme park, open the My Disney Experience app, sign in, then tap the “More” option at the bottom right, then tap the Disability Access Service (DAS) button to proceed to the self-selection flow. As well, the DAS Self-Selection tool may also be accessed from any attraction detail screen.
Best Disney Wishes ~ Jacqueline
