Hi Rozanne,
Welcome to planDisney!
Well, this makes me smile - when planning a trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort, other family members decide to join the fun. This sounds familiar! The room capacity will actually determine whether or not you can make this reservation modification. Unfortunately, I cannot see your room reservation, so I cannot say for certain. Some standard rooms at
Disney Resorts Collection hotels can accommodate five people.
Disney's Riviera Resort,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have standard rooms that would work for your expanded group.
I also suggest that you
contact a cast member in Disney Resort Hotel Reservations if you want to explore options. If possible, consider changing room types and/or resort hotels. Even though you might be able to fit five people in a room, a little additional space would be nice to have.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort has family suites that are super cute and can sleep six people. The best part is they have two bathrooms. I also love Disney's Art of Animation Resort because it has access to the
Disney Skyliner. Consider the length of stay. If you are staying for four days or more, I would consider the suite!
I wish you luck! It sounds like you have become the unofficial group leader. Let me also offer a few additional tips. Make
advanced dining reservations. With five people, it may be more difficult to find walk-up availability. And, since you will have several family members together, consider doing a
Capture Your Moment: Magic Kingdom Photo session. My family had a blast on a photo session a few years ago. Those pictures are still our favorites!
Rozanne, more than anything, enjoy this time with your family. Life is short and I will always say, take the trip and make the memories!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
