Hi Janet,
Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you might be taking the lead on the trip planning! If so, I salute you! First, I want to be sure you both have a MyDisney account and you are connected through the
My Family & Friends List. It sounds like you are connected and you have assigned the theme park ticket to your family member. If this is the case, they should be able to open the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, look for a link that says My Tickets & Passes. Your family member should be able to see that ticket there. If not, you may want to check to make sure you have it assigned to the correct profile. Or, have them click on the plus sign in the top right of the Tickets & Passes screen and then select the option to Link Tickets & Passes.
Of course, if your family member is unable to see that ticket and you cannot get it linked, you can always
call to speak to a cast member in Website Support. Once you have those tickets linked and assigned, be sure to check to make sure you do not need
theme park reservations. Also, if you have not yet done so, make a few
advanced dining reservations. Since we are typically celebrating someone during our visits (birthdays!), we also try to do one special experience on each trip. I always take a look at the
Enchanting Extras Collection. My Jedi-in-Training have conspired with the Gatherers at
Savi's Workshop to build lightsabers and secured additional allies after building droids at
Droid Depot.
Janet, I hope you are able to confirm that your family member can see their assigned ticket! Finalize those plans and add a special experience. Since our girls are getting older, we are realizing how important these memories are from the teenage years. Sending you a little extra planning pixie dust!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
