    Hello, I have a family member staying off site. I purchased genie plus for everyone. That family member is linked to my account.. Can I book a lightning lane for that person at 7 AM since he is linked I?

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! It sounds like you have found a way to combine a visit with family into a Walt Disney World vacation. I love when that happens!

    If you are asking if you can make a Genie+ Lightning Lane selection at 7:00 AM for your whole party, including those who are not staying in a Disney World Resort Hotel, the answer is yes! Genie+ selections start for everyone at 7:00 AM. Just make sure that everyone you want to make a selection for is linked to your Friends & Family List on your My Disney Experience account. 

    Individual Lightning Lane purchases are a bit different. You'll only be able to make those purchases at 7:00 AM for your Friends & Family that are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. Friends & Family staying offsite will be able to purchase Individual Lightning Lanes whenever the park they are visiting for the day opens.  

    Good news! Right now there is only one attraction in each park that is available for Individual Lightning Lane purchase. Frozen Ever After, Space Mountain, and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway are temporarily included among the Genie+ Lightning Lane options. So, even if you are not able to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for your group for a specific attraction, you might want to just make that your first ride of the day and wait in the standby line together.
