    I have a family member who is opposed to the finger scans at the entrance of the each. park, what other options are available for confirmation of identity ? I’m hoping that valid government ID is enough for the cast member along with valid park.

    Welcome to planDisney! I hope you are excited about visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth. So many new and incredible things will happen at Walt Disney World over the next few years! After the D23 Expo last weekend, I am even more excited to visit than usual.

    Walt Disney World is all about making dreams come true, so that starts with making all Guests feel comfortable if they can do so. Since Theme Park tickets are not transferable, fingerprint scans are utilized for verifying identity. With that being said, if your family member is not comfortable providing their finger scan, they do have the option of using a photo ID to match their ticket. In order to do so, your family member should speak to a Cast Member at Guest Relations outside of the Theme Park before trying to enter.
