Hey there, Danielle, and welcome to planDisney!
I love the convenience of the
Disneyland mobile app and the ability to link tickets together when visiting the
Disneyland Resort. Luckily, because of this super helpful feature, which I'll walk through below, you don't need to have every family member use the app to create track of their tickets and other reservations as long as you all are planning to stay together during your trip.
When I visit the parks with my wife and two young kiddos, I usually just link all of our tickets into my Disneyland mobile app and scan all four tickets when we enter the parks. Our daughter still takes an afternoon nap, so I also will take a screenshot on my phone of my wife's ticket (our daughter has been young enough on our previous visits that she didn't need a ticket) if she is the one taking our daughter back to the hotel room for a nap. This way, she can just pull up the picture of the ticket to scan in when they are going to re-enter the parks.
Linking the tickets is super easy! You'll just pull up the mobile app on your phone, tap the menu button (the three horizontal lines) and select "Tickets and Passes." Next, you'll want to tap "Link Tickets & Passes" and from here you can either scan the barcodes of all the tickets in your party or enter the ticket ID manually. After that, all the tickets are linked together in your account and you'll be able to make reservations and access the tickets for scanning into the park.
I hope that helps, Danielle! Thanks again for your question and have a fantastic visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
