If a family member in the military is gifting 2 day Disneyland tickets do they have to be with us for both days or just the first? ( we are only going with them for one day due to 1 day tickets not avalible)

Greetings, Skylar! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks so much for stopping by to ask us a ticket question.

Wow! That is so special to hear that a family member is gifting tickets for you to visit Disneyland Resort next month! As a military spouse, our family has purchased and used tickets from the military base ticket office quite often. There are two ticket types available for military members currently. The first is a standard theme park ticket. The second is a Disney Military Promotional Ticket that is available as a 3-day and 4-day ticket hopper. Since you mentioned that your tickets would be 2-day tickets, these would be the standard theme park tickets. This means that you actually don't need to have the military member present. The Disney Military Promotional Tickets do need not only the military member or spouse present at activation, but they also must be using one of the tickets.

As soon as the tickets are purchased, it is super important that you link them to a Disney account and make theme park ticket reservations. The holidays can be some of the most popular days and reservations will most likely book up. Once you have your reservations confirmed, you are good to go.

Skylar, I hope this information helps you out and you have a wonderful time visiting The Happiest Place on Earth. See you real soon!
