    Brant from CA Asked

We have a family member who lives with us and has a medical bill with their name and California address. Is that proof of California Residency to go to the park?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Brant!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we are honored to answer your question regarding next Disneyland Resort vacation!

All guests purchasing Disneyland Theme Park Tickets and making a Disneyland Theme Park Reservation will be required to use their My Disneyland Account, which is tied to their address. Also, when a guest makes a Disneyland Theme Park reservation, they will be required to certify that they are a California resident. These will be the two main ways to prove if a guest is a California resident. Since you and your family member currently live in California, you both should be good to go! I did talk to a very helpful Cast Member, and she told me that a form of identification MAY be checked at the gate when you arrive to the Disneyland Theme Parks. To cover all of your bases, I recommend your family member bring a medical bill just in case a Cast Member asks to prove their current California residence.

As more and more TIGGER-ific information is shared about the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, I would highly recommend following Disneyland on all of its social media channels and subscribing to The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
