    Hello, A family member is on a liquid diet. When making ADR's can we work it so they will be with us and not pay since they can't eat. How would we do this through reservations? We cannot very well leave them outside.

    Hi Traci! Thanks for bringing your great question to planDisney! The Walt Disney World Resort wants every Guest to enjoy their magical vacation! This includes Guests with special dietary needs.

    There are two ways to approach your family member’s needs. When making reservations for your group, always be sure to include your family member with dietary needs in the headcount. This will ensure that everyone has a seat at the table. You can let your server know that one member of the group will not be ordering from the menu.

    The other option is to send an email to Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. Don’t forget that “ . “ between the first two words! The dietary specialists at Disney Dining might have some helpful suggestions that could allow your family member to enjoy a modified meal with your group. I included a link in this answer to the special dietary needs page provided on the Walt Disney World Resort website. I hope it's helpful!

    Either way, I would always include all family members in your reservation count! I hope the dietary specialists can provide you with some helpful information so that your family member can enjoy some of the magic of Disney Dining!
