Hi Nichole, welcome to planDisney!
I'm happy to walk you through your options and will do my best to help clarify some of the confusion.
Theme park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, but the great news is that they are valid until their stated expiration date! And worst case, if your tickets happen to expire, not to worry! Per Disney's
eTicket Terms & Conditions, any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park tickets (except for special event tickets or tickets purchased from a third party), can be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket in equal or greater value to what was paid for the original ticket. Neat right?
If you are unsure of your ticket's expiration date, I can help walk you through the steps to find out. First, you will need to open up your
Disneyland Mobile App, click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner, and select "Tickets and Passes". You should see your ticket there with the expiration date. If the tickets are not showing up, or if the expiration date is not visible, you can try giving the
Disneyland Resort Tickets line a call, or try the chat feature in the Disneyland Mobile app where you can connect with Cast Members and get help.
In regards to cancelation, if you are positive you will not be able to make your current
theme park reservation due to your family member's wedding (congrats by the way!), we recommend you log in to your
Disneyland Resort account and cancel your current reservation. This will free up space for other Guests to book!
To cancel your current reservation, select the "My Disneyland" link, and then click the "Ticket and Reservation Details" link. Select the reservation you wish to cancel and click "Cancel Reservation". Once canceled, you're free to book your new reservation for another date, OR you can wait to book later as well!
I hope I was able to help. If you have any more questions, please visit us again!
See ya real soon!
