Welcome to planDisney, Debbie. Thanks for taking the time to stop by with your question for us.
During these crazy times of pandemic, many people’s vacation plans are influx. For my upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, I actually encountered a similar issue and had to reassign an extra ticket.
So long as the extra ticket has not been used yet, your family member can easily assign it to another person. It is a fairly simple process – be sure the person you plan to give the extra ticket to is someone linked on your
Family & Friends List. (Be sure to cancel any park reservation(s) associated with the previous traveler.)
To reassign the ticket: You can log on to your Disney account on the
Walt Disney World Resort website, or access your
My Disney Experience mobile app. On the mobile app, click on the three small horizontal lines on the lower right corner to open up the menu, where you’ll see “Tickets and Passes”. From there you can reassign your ticket to another person listed on your Family & Friends List.
However, if the ticket has already been used (even if there are subsequent days left), the ticket is not transferable to another person. Sometimes, Stitch can wreak havoc and cause glitches with My Disney Experience. If you or your family member has any issues, please contact My Disney Experience at (407) 939-4357 and a Cast Member will gladly provide assistance.
