If a family member has already purchased their tickets for the parks and would like to join our family in our room. Are we able to transfer their tickets and add them to the room reservation?

    Aloha Tabitha!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending us this magical question. Oh my goodness, Tabitha, your magical vacation is coming so soon! I am so excited for you and your Ohana to visit the Walt Disney World Resort real soon, and I love that you followed Lilo and Nani's advice. As we know: "Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten!"

I am happy to say that, yes, you will be able to add additional family members to your Resort hotel reservation! All you have to do is sign into your My Disney Experience account on your desktop and click on "My Plans" under the "My Disney Experience" tab. Then, scroll down to the "Daily Itinerary" section, and there should be a "Change Reservation" button next to your Resort hotel reservation. This button will allow you to make various changes to your reservation, including the number of Guests. If you need help at any point, however, don't hesitate to reach out to a Cast Member via chat, email or phone! Disney Cast Members will be able to help correctly link and modify your reservation for you so that all you have to worry about is creating magical memories with your Ohana.

As for the theme park tickets, you can simply add the family member's profile to your Family & Friends List if their ticket is already linked to their profile! If you have not done so already, click on "My Family & Friends" under the "My Disney Experience" tab online and click on "Add a Guest" at the bottom of your list. Then, you will be able to link with them in a few different ways, but I usually just enter the Guest's information myself, making sure to put the email address associated with their account. Once they have accepted your request, they will show up in your Family & Friends List, and you will be able to make plans with them. Also, ensure that everyone in your party has their theme park reservations booked for each day you intend to visit. Theme park tickets and reservations are required to fly by on your Hawaiian rollercoaster ride, and they are subject to availability.

I hope this was helpful, Tabitha, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out! We may not be as cute and fluffy as Stitch, but we sure are true friends.

Have a magical day, and until we meet again,
