Family is meeting us at the parks, but not stay on property with us. When I purchase their tickets can I link them to my reservation on my Disney experience? They are kids so they don't have a phone to use the app! making sure for virtual queues

Hey Howdy Hey Kayla and welcome back to planDisney!

Your upcoming vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort sounds super exciting, especially to include your immediate and extended family. Vacations to Walt Disney World are perfect for the whole family to experience together! Thank you for your question on managing Theme Park Tickets for minors, not in your immediate party. I will be happy to give you more information so you can all navigate the parks together.

If you are visiting the parks with kids who have been to Walt Disney World before, they most likely have a My Disney Experience account that their parents or guardians manage. The adult who manages the profiles of the kids will be the ones who allow anyone other than themselves to manage their profiles. They would do this by logging into their My Disney Experience account and going to the "My Family & Friends" section. As long as you are connected with them, the parents or guardians can go to your name in their list and click on "Settings". Next, they will look for the option to "Allow (you Kayla) to make plans for your managed profiles". They will essentially give you access to make plans for their children where you can link their tickets to and make all the purchases and reservations such as with Lightning Lanes. Only people who have access to managing accounts can make plans for those kids through their My Disney Experience app.

If the kids in your family have not been to Walt Disney World before, this process would work differently. You can make My Disney Experience profiles for them which you will link the tickets to after you purchase them. You can then have full access to their profiles to make plans such as dining reservations or Virtual Queue selections for them.

When creating My Disney Experience profiles for minors, you would be the one with full control of their account. This would also allow them to make Disney MagicMobile passes for them as well. This is available through the My Disney Experience app and is a way to access their tickets as well as Lightning Lanes and Virtual Queue access from one smart device. Simply log into the app, tap the three horizontal lines on the bottom right and search for "Set Up MagicMobile Entry". Follow the steps to set up and your smart device will have access to everyone's profiles you manage during your Magical vacation!

The information above should help you plan your vacation and give you options for accessing My Disney Experience accounts for kids during your trip. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,
