Howdy, Ana! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
Your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is just around the corner! So exciting! There is so much to experience during
Halloween Time at both parks, but I believe you are referencing the Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party that takes place on select nights at Disney California Adventure Park. This special party requires a separate ticket to attend which are currently all sold out. If you'll be visiting Disney California Adventure Park on October 12th and don't have a party ticket, you will be asked to leave the park by 6:00 p.m. If you have a Park Hopper ticket, you can hop over to Disneyland Park at that time. If not, you can enjoy the evening shopping and dining in the
Downtown Disney District. You can even take part in
Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit by spotting specially decorated pumpkins around the area. If you spot them all and mark them on your game board, you get a prize!
Even without attending the party, you can still enjoy all sorts of Halloween fun! You definitely won't want to miss Haunted Mansion Holiday and the Halloween Screams nighttime spectacular in Disneyland Park. Over in Disney California Adventure Park, you'll want to visit Cars Land which has been decorated with Haul-O-Ween decor from top to bottom. You can also celebrate the spirit of Día de los Muertos in
Plaza de la Familia. There will be performances of a Musical Celebration of
Coco, tasty Mexican food at Paradise Garden Grill, and you can even leave a special tribute to a loved one on the Memory Wall.
I hope you have a ghoulishly great time at the Disneyland Resort this October!
