    My family will be making our 2nd trip to Disney in June - our 1st trip was 2 yrs ago. We have 3 kids ages 6, 8 and 10. We rented a double stroller for our first trip and it was a life saver! Trying to decide if we should rent this time. Thoughts?

    Hello Jennifer,

    A Walt Disney World Resort vacation involves quite a bit of walking and can be very exhausting, especially for young children. I used a stroller with my youngest daughter up until she was 7 years old so I think renting a stroller is a good idea. You may find that with 3 kids in tow you'll need one just to store and carry backpacks and shopping bags in addition to a place for a tired little one to rest. 

    The Double Strollers that are available for rental at the Walt Disney World Resort have a weight capacity of 100 pounds so you may want to consider other options. Another thing to consider is that the strollers need to be returned upon exiting the Theme Parks and Downtown Disney Area so if your child is asleep; it's not an ideal situation. Carrying a sleeping 6 year old onto a bus and through the hallways of the Resort Hotel to get back to your room (when you're exhausted too) is not a very magical way to end a day. 

    I suggest renting a stroller through Kingdomstrollers.com. The strollers are delivered to and also picked up from your Resort hotel. All you have to do is choose your stroller, give them your Resort information and the time of delivery and pick up you prefer, and they do the rest for you.
