Keith from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Our Family is making it's first trip to Disney together! We don't want to miss out on Savi's Workshop! We Check into Beach Club on Dec 6th, but are not going to the first park until December 7th. When will our 60 day reservation window open?

Hey there, Keith, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! It’s exciting to see that your family is planning your first trip to Walt Disney World together! I remember my first trip to The Walt Disney World Resort like it was yesterday, so I know that your family will create lasting memories on this extra special visit!

Keith, reservations for Savi’s Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers can be made up to 60 days in advance of your arrival. The fantastic part of every Disney Vacation is that it begins the moment you arrive inside the resort “bubble.” With an arrival date of December 6, 2022, your reservation window opens on October 7, 2022! So you only have a few more hours to wait before you finally secure your spot to build a custom lightsaber! Please keep in mind that a Theme Park Reservation and valid Theme Park Ticket are required to enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the lightsaber experience. PG Pro Tip: Since you’ll already be in Batuu, I recommend grabbing a Ronto Wrap from Ronto Roasters or Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo (available here after 3 p.m.). You can thank me later! This tip also reminds me that your dining reservation window also opens on October 7th! I always like to sneak a Disney Dining plug into every answer. After all, it’s my favorite resort attraction!

I hope this helps, Keith! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know

You’ve got a friend in me,
