HI there. My family and I are making our first trip to Disney at the end of September. I have a four year old boy who loves adventure. I have been able to get a great deal at the Swan but is that a good idea? We can still move to another hotel.

    Mindy:

I've stayed at the Swan's sister hotel, The Dolphin, twice and loved the convenience of it to the Boardwalk, not to mention the price.  In fact, my husband and I took our three young children on our first visit, and they loved the paddle boats and the large pool with its waterfalls.

The Swan and Dolphin hotels give you the Deluxe experience (down to the bath products and actually a more "heavenly" bed than my last visit to The Polynesian) and proximity to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios without the Deluxe price. PLUS: you've got the Boardwalk and its magicians, artists and surrey bikes to boot--an adventure of a more cosmopolitan flavor for your 4-year-old!

Be confident in your decision and have a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
