My family will be making our first Disney trip with our 3 year old next fall and are trying to decide on a hotel. We like the Caribbean a lot but the sheer size seems a bit much with far trips to buses, pool, food etc... Am I right to consider this?

    Hi Kris!!!

We love Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort!!!  You feel like you have been transported to the Caribbean with the theming of the resort.

You are correct that Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is quite a large resort.  With 2,112 rooms, it is definitely very spread out.  However, there was a lot of design put into the resort to not make it feel so overwhelming.  There are actually seven bus stops located around the resort so you really don't have a very long walk to any of the bus stops depending on what village you are staying in.  Each village also has its own quiet pool, plus the additional main pool at Old Port Royale.

Even if you want to go swim at the main pool and eat at the food court, there is an easy way to get there from any of the villages around the resort.  There is an Internal Resort Shuttle that goes around the resort.  This will allow you to travel to any of the villages within the resort or the main pool/building.

I think that your three year old will love Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and it will not be as overwhelming as you think.

Please let me if there is anything else I can help you with!!!

    Have a magical day!!
