Hello Raquel! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your Magic Key question.

You are correct that usually there is a window for annual passholders that would open up for your to renew your passes before they expire. At the end of May 2022, Disneyland Resort announced the California Ticket Offer and they also announced that all Magic Key passes were sold out and currently unavailable. Along with the announcement, it was mentioned that all current Magic Key holders who are in the renewal window will have the opportunity to renew into one of the several passes available in the program. The messaging stated that they would share details about renewals at a later date. This means that all of us Magic Key holders are anxiously awaiting this news to know what renewal options will be available and what the program will look like moving forward.

In the meantime, we can still enjoy all the benefits that our Magic Key passes have to offer. If you haven't had an opportunity to dine at the Magic Key Terrace, I definitely recommend looking into it. Pro Tip: Try to find a reservation that will take place around sunset. It's really fun to be able to overlook Cars Land when the nightly "Sh-Boom" moment happens and the neon lights turn on.
