It's so exciting that you were able to reschedule your most magical vacation. There is nothing like a
Walt Disney World vacation and sharing it with your family - you are bound to make memories that will last a lifetime!
Rich, I think you'll be happy to know that
MagicBands are attached to a person, not a particular trip. You will be able to use those bands for your upcoming trip. But, let's make sure they are still active and good to go.
To do this, log in to your
MyDisneyExpereince account. Then, hover your cursor over the "MyDisneyExperience logo" in the top right-hand corner. This will open up a drop-down menu and you'll want to select the option, "My MagicBands & Cards". When you scroll down you'll see yourself and everyone you manage via the Friends & Family list. You can click on your name and it will show all of the MagicBands associated with you and the MagicBand status. You should see that it is active and that means that it is good to go for your trip. You'll want to do that for everyone in your trip just to be sure but other than that you should be all set.
One other thing I will suggest, Rich, is downloading the
MyDisneyExperience mobile app to your smartphone device before your trip. I actually use this exclusively now instead of wearing a MagicBand. With the app, I can scan into the theme parks, open my resort room door, collect my PhotoPass downloads and so much more. It's a really convenient tool to have and use but I do suggest familiarizing yourself with it before your trip.
