We are going with family who has made the reservation at Art of Animation but will arrive after we do. Will we be able to check in to our resort without them? Our name is on the reservation and we will have our Magicbands.

    Hey Ashly-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are in for a real treat. At Disney’s Art of Animation Resort your family can live in the world of Simba, Lightning McQueen, Ariel and Nemo. This is the newest value resort and we loved it. The Big Blue Pool is enormous, fun and adorned with a splash pad for the kids. My sons spent all day at the pool including a splash pad battle. We were in a Lion King Suite where everyone had a bed and a comfortable place to sit and eat. The kitchenette is perfect.

As long as everyone is on the same reservation it will not matter who arrives first. When you check-in, explain to the Cast Member at the front desk that the rest of your party will be arriving later. They will verify your information and link your MagicBands to your room. You will be able to use the MagicBand as your room key.

Disney Dad Tip: Make sure to keep your MagicBand on at all times. You will need it to access the pool areas.

Ashly, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
