My family loves Disney popcorn. I was wondering if there are different popcorn flavors at the various parks and what those are?

Welcome back to planDisney, Toni! It's nice to see you here again!

I'm so glad you POPPED by to ask about Disney popcorn. Like you, my family loves the popcorn at Walt Disney World Resort -on our recent visit, we purchased two refillable popcorn buckets because we just could not get enough! My husband had the genius idea of refilling the buckets right before we left a theme park so we could enjoy some as a bedtime snack. Yum!

There are lots of delicious flavors of popcorn to try all around Walt Disney World Resort. Obviously, you cannot go wrong with the classic original butter flavor, which you will find in all four theme parks. If you purchase a refillable popcorn bucket, you'll be able to purchase refills for the length of your stay for the low price of $2. When I visited in July, refills were handed out in popcorn boxes, which you could pour into your bucket yourself for health and safety reasons.

My absolute favorite flavored popcorn is found in EPCOT's Germany pavilion inside Karamell-Kuche. The caramel popcorn there is pure perfection - my family dreams about it between visits. This popcorn is not part of the refillable popcorn program, but it's totally worth it!

EPCOT is home to two other delicious popcorn options. In the Canada pavilion, you can find maple popcorn sold at the Popcorn in Canada cart. There is also a cart that moves around that sells three flavors - usually buffalo bleu cheese, cheddar, and sour cream and chive - that you can buy separately or ask the Cast Member to mix. It tastes SO good mixed! On my recent visit, I could not find this stand, so if this sounds delicious to you, I recommend asking a Cast Member if they know where it's currently parked. It used to be outside Journey Into Imagination With Figment, but the last place I saw it was inside the Odyssey Events Pavilion, where The EPCOT Experience is showing. It's a popcorn mystery for you to solve - and with a delicious reward!

Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Kat Saka's Kettle serves some space-tacular popcorn. Called Outpost Mix, this popcorn is a sweet and savory mixture favored by the residents of Batuu in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

You might also find pre-packaged popcorn options at merchandise locations, so if there's a certain flavor you're craving, head to the snack section of a store to see what's cooking.

Toni, I also recommend reading the Disney Parks Blog, as they share Foodie News every week. Who knows what new flavors might POP up around the theme parks, resorts and Disney Springs? I'm not BUTTERING you up when I tell you that I love your taste in snacks, and I hope you enjoy every bite on your upcoming visit.

Thanks for stopping by with this delicious question! We're here to help if you think of any further questions as you count down the days.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
