Hi My family and I would love to go to Disney World. Is early October a good month in terms of crowds, deals and weather? Thanks so much!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Emily! I’m glad you’re hEAR! The fall season is an amazing time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, for a number of reasons, one of which is seasonal magic!

I have planned several trips during the fall, and have been with and without my kids. Adults will love the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, where they can eat around the world without leaving the park, and have the “world’s best” cocktail hour and sample beverages from each country. Families as a whole will experience Magic Kingdom in a whole new way with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, a trick or treating evening adventure with special parades, fireworks, characters and smaller lines. It’s one of my favorite pieces of fall magic. You’ll also escape the hot summer weather, and still be able to take a dip in the year-round heated swimming pools at each Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. If you’re looking for some fall deals, check the Special Offers page consistently for savings that fit both your family and our budget.

I always use Undercover Tourist’s Crowd Calendar to see which parks are best to visit on any given day. It’s a nearly foolproof way to improve my vacation and experience more fun. Pack a hoodie, just in case, and le the fun begin. We’ll see ya real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
