Hello, my family and I are looking to come to Disney at the end of September. The last week of September it appears there are zero dates for reserving at either the park? Just wanted to see if this was true????

Hiya, Amy! I'm so glad you came to see us here at planDisney. We just love helping our fellow Guests plan magical trips to the Happiest Place on Earth ... and your trip will be filled with the happy haunts of Halloween Time! You are going to love all of the boo-tastic surprises the grim grinning ghosts have in store throughout the parks!

Before we talk Halloween, let's talk tickets. I have great news for you! Tickets become available 120 days ahead of time, so they are just starting to pop up in the availability calendar as we speak! As of today, you can book through September 26. Each day moving forward, the next day will open up, so tomorrow you can book September 27th and so on. It sounds like you're a planner at heart, just like me and my planDisney buds. I recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as you can. During the purchase process, you will secure theme park reservations. While tickets are non-refundable, the reservations can be canceled and rescheduled. Reservations are limited, and I know Guests will be eager to hit the spooktacular offerings around that time of year!

Ok, if you couldn't tell, I am a Halloween enthusiast! My daughter was born Halloween week, so with a pumpkin baby in tow, this has become an extraordinarily special time of year for my whole family. We absolutely love coordinating our Disney-theme costumes and hitting the Oogie Boogie Bash - a Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure Park. Tickets have not yet gone on sale for this year's event, but keep your eyes peeled on the Disney Parks Blog for more information. Over at Disneyland Park, Haunted Mansion Holiday is a do-not-miss attraction! Jack Skellington and his Nightmare Before Christmas crew have taken over the fan-favorite Haunted Mansion. We just love the ballroom scene - I won't give anything away but be sure your nose is turned on to any unexpected scents! While you're in line for Haunted Mansion Holiday, mobile order some seasonal Mickey beignets from the Mint Julep Bar just next door. They will be hot and ready for you as soon as your tour is done. Unless of course, you've decided to take up residence in the mansion as the 1,000th ghost.

Amy, good luck securing those late September tickets! So much magic awaits. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney

    Boo to you!
