    My family is looking at planning a trip next year to Fl and would like to stay at a resort. We have a special needs child and want to know which might have the best room for a wheelchair?

    Hi Courtney!
    Yay...A trip to Walt Disney World sounds like an amazing, most Magical time!
    I'll start by sharing something that you probably already know-- Disney is committed to offering all guests a memorable and comfortable experience during their stay.
    What this means is that if you're thinking about booking a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you'll be off to an incredible experience!
    I say this because all hotels on Disney property are generally designed to accommodate guests with mobility disabilities. The best way to start looking into wheelchair-accessible accommodations is by following these simple steps:
    * Visit the WaltDisneyWorld.com website
    * Click on the tab that says "Places to Stay"
    * At the top of the page, you'll be prompted to enter your check-in dates, as well as the number of people in your party. Next to that you'll need to check off the box that says "Accessible Rooms"
    * Once you're done with your information, you will get a listing of hotels. Click on the one that agrees with your budget and it will take you to the different accessible rooms and suites available for that hotel.
    I will share that the moderate and deluxe hotels tend to have additional amenities to accommodate guests in wheelchairs but keep in mind that most of the transportation systems at the Walt Disney World Resort are accessible to guests with disabilities.
    This means that even if you select a value resort, getting to and from the Parks will be no problem whether you choose bus, watercraft or Monorail access.
    I hope this helps!
