Hi, Lance! Over the years, my family has enjoyed several Walt Disney World vacations during that same time frame. You've chosen an excellent season for your upcoming visit.
While I would love to be able to share some good news about the return of
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there have not been any announcements yet about this spook-tacular celebration. Are you familiar with the
Disney Parks Blog? It's a great resource for keeping up to date not only on event availability, but also on new offerings in and around the parks, discounts and other fun posts about all things Disney. I recommend keeping a close eye on the blog for word on whether or not this event will be held this year.
I'm happy to tell you, though, that even in spite of the pandemic, Walt Disney World did host the
Taste of Epcot International Food and Wine Festival last year. No dates have been set for this tasty celebration yet this year, but, historically, it has begun as early as the end of August and lasted through mid-November. Last year, guests were treated to an extra long event given the festival's July debut. I mention it as a possible alternative should Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party not be available again this year.
Given the
pandemic-related updates to Walt Disney World, this year brings about some new considerations for planning a magical vacation. My panelist friends and I have collaborated to offer some of our best
tips for visiting in 2021. Maybe these recommendations will aid in your planning process.
If we can offer any further help or advice, Lance, don't hesitate to stop by with another question. We're happy to come alongside and lend a hand!
