My family and I are looking to plan a trip to WDW. My daughter is almost 4 with autism. What resort is recommened that's more toddler/kid friendly?

I would say all the resorts have an amazing kid quality and are toddler friendly.  My daughter was diagnosed with asperger's, which falls into the Autism spectrum.  I found two places worked the best for us, and those are Pop Century and the Beach Club Resort.

Pop Century - has large areas to play outside, a walking trail, sidewalk shooting fountains, and almost never has to share its bus with other resorts. con:  only buses no other form of transportation.  If your daughter has issues with lots of people in a bus standing in close proximity, it may be a deterrent.

Beach Club - Pro:  The transportation:  You can walk to the World Showcase located in EPCOT, or take a boat to the World Showcase, Hollywood Studios.  There is a bus to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.  My daughter loved the boat.  She liked it so much, that although the Boardwalk was a hop skip and a jump, we took the boat.  She loved finding the turtles as they would swim up to the side of the boat.   The con:  The pool, its fantastic don't get me wrong, but for my little girl it was the texture of the sand at the bottom of the pool.  She had issues with textures, so she jumped in not realizing and freaked out, when she hit the bottom with her little feet.  If your little one is okay with sand between her toes, your safe at the Beach Club. Have a fabulous trip!!!
