Hello! My family and I are looking to plan a Disney vacation in 2023. I'm wondering how we get set up with someone to plan with use through Disney, payment plans for multiple families, etc.

Hey Howdy Hey Ann and welcome to planDisney!

I am so glad to hear that you and possibly several families will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort next year and are in the initial stages of planning! How exciting! There are several things to consider when you are starting the planning process and knowing where to look to find this information is key. Let's jump right in and get you pointed in the right direction.

Now the first thing about planning a trip to Walt Disney World is the number of resources that Disney has available to you online. There is a great landing page for Vacation Planning that will guide you to most of the areas on the site you would want to book or might have questions about. Disney does not have any vacation planners per se or travel agents to book the trips for and help you through the process that works specifically at Disney, you would need a third-party agency for that. Don't worry Ann, you've got a friend in me that will tell you where to find such experts!

If you are looking for a specific travel agency that specializes in trips to Walt Disney World, a quick internet search for "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner" will connect you to so many available agencies. Make sure to look for this distinction and logo, complete with the ears, on their website. These agencies are recognized by Disney for their expert knowledge, efficiency and customer service when planning trips to Walt Disney World. Disney also gives these agencies that go above and beyond further distinctions so you might see a gold or platinum distinction noted on their site.

These agents that work with these agencies go through extensive training for planning trips to Walt Disney World and their knowledge and resources are invaluable when planning a trip! One of the best parts about their services is that they are free! So not only do you have a travel planning expert on your side and free services but they will also take care of the bookings, reservations and payments for you!  Shop around and take a look at several sites. They all should have places you can request a free quote and start the conversation with an agent.

Of course, you also have your newfound 'Ohana here at planDisney as well! As you start the process of wrangling in the details of your trip and have questions, feel free to reach out and let us know, we would be happy to answer any questions and as many questions as you may have!

Best of luck as you move forward in your planning and please let us know if you have any further questions! We love talking all things Disney here at planDisney!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Nick
