Welcome back to planDisney, Courtney! It's a pleasure to have you sail back to us with another question.
A Disney Cruise is my family's ultimate Disney vacation, and I'd love to help you feel prepared for an incredible adventure at sea! For fans of pin trading, you are in luck aboard a Disney Cruise, as you'll encounter plenty of
opportunities for pin trading.
Some of the shops offer pin trading at the register, similar to what you'll see at Disney Parks, with a pin trading box or a display of pins to choose from. Simply ask the Crew Members in the store, and they'll assist you. You'll likely also see a scheduled pin trading event listed in the Daily Activity Schedule where guests are encouraged to meet at a specific time and location onboard for pin trading, sometimes with ship officers too. These are the official pin trading events and locations that you can enjoy during your sailing.
In addition to these, you'll see several guests encouraging pin trading with pin boards just outside their stateroom door with a sign instructing you to "take a pin and leave a pin." My family has fun just wandering around the stateroom hallways to look for these opportunities. Lastly, if your sailing has an organized group on Facebook, they might make plans for a pin trading meetup.
With a ship full of Disney fans, you won't have to look too hard for opportunities to trade pins. I hope you have a great time meeting people, sharing pins, and making great memories! Once you have booked a cruise, make sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app so that you can plan and count down to embarkation day in style. Once you are on board the ship, the app will point your compass to all of the events happening in the Daily Activity Schedule that I mentioned.
I know you'll have an amazing time! If you have any more questions, we'll be here for you.
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
