My family is looking forward to a Mediterranean cruise. Sailing with Mickey, of course! On previous voyages, we've dined at the Main seating. With a 10 year old son and lots of ports to visit, we requested late seating this time. Good plan or not?

    Hi Kimberly,

A Mediterranean cruise sounds like a dream come true!  With an extended voyage such as this, I think you have made a fantastic choice in dining times.  You certainly will want to make the most of your days in the foreign ports, so by having the late seating for dining you may find time for a quick rest or a dip in the pool before dinner.

Now, I will mention that if for some reason your party just won't be able to sit through the entire meal after a busy day, simply let your server know when you arrive.  Whatever course you may miss can be delivered to your stateroom.  It would be ashame to miss out on any of the dining experiences and unique menus, so go ahead make the most of your day with full confidence you won't miss a bite of your meal!

    Have a wonderful voyage!
