My family and I are looking forward to our first Disney Cruise in May. I still have Disney Dollars that I have been saving. Are they accepted on the ship?

    Hi Kathy,

You can treat your Disney dollars as you would real US minted money...because Disney Cruise Line does.  Remember, you won't use any type of cash while onboard.  All of your charges go straight to your stateroom account.  You will be able to use your Disney dollars to settle your bill.  I usually go to Guest Services on our last evening, check our bill and apply any Disney gift cards or Disney dollars we have to our account.  It's really simple!

I hope this helps.  I'm so excited that you're going on your first Disney cruise.  You are about to embark on an adventure!  Have a magical sailing Kathy!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
