My family and I have been looking into the Fort Wilderness Resort and we were wondering if they have a fire pit at the campsites for the families to sit around?

Hi Angela!  The Fort Wilderness campsites do not have a fire pit for the guests to use.  Each site is equipped with a small grill and a picnic table.  There are two large fire pits in the area used for Chip and Dale's Campfire Singalong where you can sit around and cook your marshmallows but that is it!  I too love to sit and enjoy a fire in the evening when camping but I also understand the risk of a fire that might not be attended to and get out of hand.  As much as I miss this experience while at Disney I have found that there are so many other fun things to see and do that takes the place of the fire pit gathering!
