Hi Caitlin!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you so much for bringing this great Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR!
Mine is a U.S. Military Family too, and the
Holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort is truly unlike any other time at the already Most Magical Place on Earth. The currently offered
U.S. Military promotional tickets, aka "Military Salute" tickets, which are 4, 5 or 6-day park hoppers, as well as
U.S. Military room rates at a
Disney Resort Hotel do all have a use-by date of December 18 this year.
However! There is a second type of slightly reduced ticket that select U.S. Service Members do have access to that do
not have the same date restrictions or purchase limits as the above that should work out for your group. These are the 'Magic Your Way Tickets' that are sold at base/post MWR Military Ticket Offices, and also at
Shades of Green, which is an Armed Forces Recreation Center located on Walt Disney World Resort property. These tickets do need to be purchased by an Active Duty or Active Reserve service member, or by a full Retiree who either hit 20+ years of service or has 100% service-related connected disabilities, but, they can be used by anyone with or without a service member present. And don't forget that tickets purchased on base or at Shades are free of sales tax!
Another place to look for savings is the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts section for special promotions that are available to all of Mickey's pals. And definitely check back often as new promotions are released often.
I hope this helped to plan your upcoming Disney Days, Caitlin, and if you have any more Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
