My family is looking to attend a campfire/s'mores roast on Wednesday or Thursday after Christmas this year. Can you tell me which resorts have this? What time do they start and how long do they last? Must you be a guest of that resort in order to attend?

    Hi there, Catherine!

Many of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels offer campfire activities after sundown. Perhaps the most famous is at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground: Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long, which features a s'mores-making kit for purchase, comedy, music, a movie, and of course, an appearance by everyone's favorite chipmunks.

Other hotels that have a bonfire are night include: Disney's Polynesian Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Yacht Club, Disney's Beach Club, Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter, and more. Some only offer marshmallows; some offer the s'mores kits for purchase. You will want to ask when you make your decision.

Schedules may vary based on time of year, so you'll definitely want to pick up a weekly calendar of events when you check in.

While you do not need to be a Guest of that particular Resort to participate, these experiences are on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Have a great trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
