Heather from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My family lives in Southern California and we qualify for the Southern California pass. My daughter is going to college out of state. What can we bring to prove residency? She no longer has a California license and lives with us when not at school.

    Hello there Heather,

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! I'm glad to hear that you'll be able to take a family trip to the Happiest Place on Earth while your daughter is home visiting from college. I'm hoping you all are able to make some magical new memories together as a family during your visit.

However, for the Southern California Resident Discount Offer, it is limited to those currently residing within ZIP codes 90000-93599. According to the Important Details section at the bottom of the offer page, a valid government-issued photo ID is required for purchase and admission. This would mean that your daughter needs a Driver's License that shows a California residential address within the ZIP codes listed above.

If your daughter does not have a license with a California address as noted above, then you would need to call a Cast Member at the Tickets line to upgrade her ticket to a standard theme park ticket and pay the difference. Note that in order to upgrade, the new ticket must be equal or greater in value to the current ticket as well.

Sorry, Heather! I can imagine that isn't the answer you were hoping to hear. However, I do hope the information is at least helpful for you all to get the correct tickets for your daughter so you can enjoy your vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth. Thank you again for your question!

    Have a Magical Day,
