Hi there, Shauna!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to discuss your upcoming enchanting escape. Let's talk about visiting the theme parks with your Florida Resident family members. My parents live part-time in the Sunshine State and love bringing my little Mouseketeers on their Disney adventures.
Walt Disney World offers
exclusive theme park tickets and Annual Passes specifically meant for Mickey Mouse's closest neighbors (residents of Florida or those who rent or own property in the state). All Guests ages 18 and older entering the theme parks with Florida Resident tickets must show a photo ID and
proof of residency. If your children are minors, they can visit the theme parks as guests of their Sunshine State relatives since you're all traveling together. The Floridian purchasing the tickets must add your children to their Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience so they can assign new tickets to the children. Then, before initially using the tickets, the children and Florida residents will need to stop by Guest Relations, a theme park ticketing window, or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to present proof of residency and activate the tickets.
I hope this is helpful, Shauna. Best wishes for a memorable vacation with your extended family members. When it comes to Walt Disney World, the more, the merrier! For large travel parties with guests of varying ages and interests, I recommend you start the day enjoying a few attractions together, separate to fulfill individual must-do lists, and reunite for meals and nighttime spectaculars. Thanks for sending your question to planDisney, and if there is anything else we can do to make your gathering even more grand, please reach out again. We're all ears!
Wishing you magic and memories,
Betsy
