Can a family that lives in California buy tickets for us? If so does he have to go with us to show prove of ID or can we enter the parks without a problem

    Hi Yamell!

Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad that you found us hEAR. Thank you so much for sending this great Disneyland Resort vacation planning question our way!

Oh Boy! A Disney day at Walt's Original Theme Park sounds like the perfect way to have fun with your family. I believe what you're referring to is the really amazing, limited-time, California Resident Ticket Offer. Sadly these tickets can only be purchased and used by those with California residential addresses between zip codes 90000 to 96199, as well as Northern Baja California residents within the 21000-22999 zip codes. Photo identification will be checked at the entry turnstiles and those with these tickets but who live outside of California (and Baja California) will be asked to upgrade to a different Theme Park Admission Ticket.

Have you looked elsewhere for discounts, special offers, and promotions? Don't forget to think of your credit card points portals, any memberships to which you belong (Costco, AAA), or my personal favorite, the 5% savings from using my Target RedCard. (Target sells Disneyland Resort Theme Park Admission Tickets online as well as in-store in the Southern California area.) If you do purchase tickets from a third-party retailer, be sure that you upload them to your My Disneyland Account or your Disneyland Mobile App as soon as possible so you can make your Park Pass Reservations. There are currently Park Pass Reservations available for both parks on the Fourth, but these numbers change often so it's best to act soon!

I hope that this helped to clEAR your question up, Yamell! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Panel Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort planning questions, We're All Ears!
