My family is listed as fellow guests on our Disney Cruise in my app, but they can’t seem to access the reservation in their apps? I don’t see a way to “send” them an invite, nor do I see a way to allow them access. Help me, Obi Wan Kenobi… 🤣

    Hello there, Brendon,

I see the Force is strong with you and your travel companions. But I sense a slight disturbance in the Force that interferes with your travel planning together. I'm glad you have invited us here at planDisney to join with you in helping to bring a new hope to your edge of the galaxy.

My first recommendation is to have each member of your family verify that their personal information in their MyDisney account matches what is believed to be associated with the Guests listed on your Disney cruise reservation. This is best done on the Disney Cruise Line website, where you can log in and visit the profile page. From there, use the "Manage MyDisney Account" button to view and verify that details such as birthdate and other information are correct. From the profile page, other settings such as Family & Friends List can be enabled and the connections in the Family & Friends List can be verified and updated. The Memberships & Passes page may be used to check that a Guest who has previously sailed with the Disney Cruise Line has their Castaway Club membership ID tied to their account.

After checking that account information for everyone is in order, use the My Reservations page to add and link a reservation. Linking a reservation can also be done in the "At Home" section of the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app using the "Add Reservation" button. Three pieces of information are needed for linking a reservation: the last name of a Guest on the reservation, that person's birthdate as listed on the reservation, and the reservation number. If there is trouble linking a reservation, the other Guest might try using the last name and birthdate of a different Guest on the reservation. It may be worth confirming that the Disney Cruise Line reservation system isn't in the middle of maintenance work. That may be indicated on the My Reservations page by an image of Dory and a message like, "Nothing Fishy Happening Here," followed by a note about routine maintenance.

If everything above is in order but linking a reservation is still difficult, it's time to call in reinforcements. Send your hologram transmission, er, phone call to the Disney Cruise Line. Cast Members at the help center are usually able to resolve challenging problems quicker than a jump to lightspeed. I'm pretty sure they have R2-D2 working for them in the background!

Thanks for reaching out to planDisney, Brendon. If you have additional questions as you get ready for your Disney cruise vacation, we hope you send more transmissions our way.

May the Force be with you, Brendon, always!
    ~Tony
