Sarah from UK Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We are a family of 7 and are all linked on mde for memory maker. My question is if we decide do eat in different places as a 3 and a 4 can we book the same time and sit down different restaurants at 17:00 or will mde block for 2 hours?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah!

I love to plan my family's vacation using My Disney Experience. It is so easy to make and manage my dining and FastPass+ reservations. I have been known to regularly take a peek into my account as my trip gets closer to remind myself of all the fun I have planned for our vacation. Even though all members of your traveling party have been linked in your Friends & Family List, you will still be able to hold overlapping dining reservations in My Disney Experience without an issue.

My family will be enjoying Walt Disney World Resort at the same time as my fellow panelist Missy's family and we are all linked in My Disney Experience. While we have a few reservations to enjoy meals together, there are many occasions where our families choose to enjoy different options for our meals. So the Reservations in My Disney Experience shows two dining reservations at the same time for different restaurants. There are also meals where we couldn't get one table large enough to fit both of our families, but we could find two separate reservations at the same time or very close in times. So in this case, there are two reservations for the same restaurant at almost the same time.

Let us know if you have any more questions as you prepare for your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
