My family and I are leaving for our first Disney World trip on June 27-July 2. We have a party of 9 (6 Adults and my three children 16, 13 & 11). Wondering if you have any advice on what days to do different parks on? Any info would be helpful.

Hi, Cindy!  I will be visiting Walt Disney World at the same time your family will be there, and I was just browsing to see if I could figure out which days might be best to be at which parks.  If you go to the site, on the left side, you will see a link that says Crowd Calendar.  This will give you their recommendation for which parks to visit on which days.

I have to warn you - anyplace that gives you a calendar like this really uses history on which to base their recommendations.  That means they might say that EPCOT is the best park on June 28th because it's been the best park for the past few years.   With discount offers varying from year to year, changes in the economy, differences in travel patterns, you might find the calendar is off on some things.  It is, however, a good starting point to plan your itinerary.

My best advice for you going at this busy time of year is to use Fast Pass whenever you can.  We like to grab a Fast Pass for one ride, go ride something else, and then as soon as our Fast Pass window opens up, we go grab a pass for something else before heading over for our Fast Pass ride.  Eat at off peak times if possible, and if you can skip the parade, you might find lines a little bit shorter at some things during the parade and fireworks.

Have a great time, and say hi if you see me wandering around, hot and tired, but loving every minute of a Walt Disney World vacation!
