HI ! My family is leaving for our first Disney cruise on July 19th to Alaska. How can I make sure that the character breakfast doesn't conflict with any early shore excursions as well as the Captain's Dinner (we have a late afternoon shore excursion)?

    Hi, Julie!

Congratulations on your upcoming Disney cruise to Alaska -- my family and I are also taking this cruise this summer! I'll be able to give you all the details after my return later this month, but in the meantime, let me tell you what I've found out thus far.

From what I understand, the Character Breakfast and the Captain's Dinner are scheduled for the days while you're at sea. I certainly understand not wanting to miss a moment at the ports of call. Disney Cruise Line has worked closely with the tour operators in Alaska to bring guests amazing experiences. Therefore, you're right to plan multiple Port Adventures (even on the same day) -- that's certainly the way to go!

Let me know if you have more questions...especially after I've had a chance to scope everything out for you. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
