Hi there, Ann!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your cruise is fast approaching and I know you must be getting excited and trying to prepare for everything you may need for your adventure at sea! It will be here before you know it, so thinking and planning ahead is super helpful!
Pirate Night is such a fun evening onboard! My family always looks forward to it, and we all dress up in our pirate garb for a swashbuckling good time! Between pirate themed dinners to the evening’s deck party – its certain to be fun for everyone! With Halloween approaching, I always take advantage and grab some pirate costumes for future cruising since my boys are still growing! In fact, on a recent sailing I realized – a little too late – that we had outgrown our costumes! But, we made do with some black, white and red! And a Pirates League makeover turned my two little boys into rough and tumble pirates ready to protect the “Mickey Boat” from any enemy pirates! While plastic swords are distributed as part of the Pirates League makeovers, it is advised that Guests not bring onboard anything that resembles swords or knives to avoid disappointment or delay in the embarkation process. You can find some plastic swords in the
onboard giftshops that always entice my boys and can be a good option if you are opting out of a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on your cruise.
As your planning continues and your adventure gets closer, please come back with any additional questions you may have!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
