    Our family of 7 landed a 2 bdrm @ Bay Lake through my mother's timeshare with RCI. If my husband and I were interested in the Disney Vacation Club, does anyone on the panel know if they offer upgrades or is that, at best, a long stretch? Thank you!

    I am so glad that you and your family took advantage of the exchange program through RCI in order to book accommodations at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  You are really going to enjoy Bay Lake Tower.  The amenities such as the pool and the activities such as crafting and playing games at Community Hall are wonderful.  The proximity to Magic Kingdom (walking distance!) cannot be beat.  Disney Vacation Club properties operate at very full occupancy year-round.  Therefore, you should expect to stay in the size and view accommodation that you booked.  However, with a two-bedroom villa at Bay Lake Tower, you won't be disappointed!

    Since you and your husband are interested in Disney Vacation Club, I highly recommend visiting the Disney Vacation Club Walt Disney World Preview Center while you are on vacation.  Unlike many timeshare presentations, this Open House is very low pressure.  You will meet with a Disney Vacation Club Guide who will take you on a tour of villa models.  Your guide will also share information with you to help determine if membership is right for you.  While you visit the Preview Center, your children can play in the supervised Kids Clubhouse.  Disney Vacation Club will provide transportation to and from the Preview Center from any location at the Walt Disney World Resort.  Visiting the Preview Center and attending the Open House will give you so much information to help determine if membership is right for you.  You can set this up ahead of time by calling (877) 790-8687, or you can schedule a visit from any of the conveniently located Open House kiosks that you see at Walt Disney World.
